The "Agustín Coruco Díaz" stadium is the headquarters of the Zacatepec Soccer team, this first stadium was built in 1948. In 1950 it was renamed in honor of Agustín Díaz, who was a player of the team. It had a capacity for less than 5,000 spectators. The construction of the new stadium arises from the need to build a new structure that provides a better show and service to the people, while meeting the requirements and specifications to host a Liga de Ascenso team and in a future First-class football. Division.

The project shows a contemporary and sober architecture, combining different materials to achieve rigidity, aesthetics and functionality. The design and shape of the stadium is mainly composed of 8 bodies (A, B, C, D, E, F, GYH), each body is divided into different levels that contain the different public, commercial and private areas of the stadium, as well as the total of 21,774 locations. 8 blocks identified for better control. Each block is directly connected by corridors, stairs and ramps. It has administrative areas, services and commerce. It has access and places for people with different capacities.
